The Consultant leading the assignment will meet with those members of the Client's executive team that will be involved in the hiring process. From the initial briefing a thorough understanding is developed as to what exactly the client is seeking both in terms of ‘technical’ career experience and the ‘soft’ skills required. It is the intention of the Summit Lead Consultant to gain and provide the following information for relay back to both the Client and also the Candidate:
-
The Client's goals and strategies, organisational make-up and culture
-
The purpose of the appointment and the details of the role including Key Performance Indicators, key expectations, time to delivery etc.
-
Candidate requirements in terms of experience gained to date, culture fit, linguistic capability, leadership etc.
-
Expected remuneration and benefits attached to the role including advice from ourselves as to what likely candidates will expect etc.
-
Recommended approach to sourcing ‘Best in Class’ candidates and timings/costs of conducting the assignment
A detailed briefing document, summarising all of the above, is then agreed for use by the Client, Lead Consultant and Candidate alike, throughout the project.
